Explore Java! Go hiking and camping at Ijen Mountain and surf on a worldclass surfspot.
This trip will bring you for 3 days to the neighbour island Java. You don't need to bring much money - almost everything is included in the price! We will bring you to Ijen Mountain, we camp together. Sitting at a bonfire you can enjoy the BBQ that we will prepare for you. Then we can talk and play guitar together till you get tired. In the night you will start hiking up Ijenand watch the blue fire as long as it is dark. You have enough time to take pictures of this unique landscape until the sun rises. Back at the basecamp of Ijen mountain we will already wait with a breakfast for you. After that we will start driving to Red Island. This place has an almost perfect left-beaking wave. And because this place is still quite unknown under tourists, you will find almost nobody in the lineup!

Day 1
- Pick-Up13.00 pm
Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation. The exact pickup time depends on the area where you stay. We will inform you after your booking about the exact pickup time.
- Boat to Java17.30 pm to 20.00 pm (Bali Time)
We will arrive at the harbour in the north of Bali and take a ferry to Java. Please note the time difference of Bali and Java! When we arrive in Java it will be around 20.00pm Bali time, what is 19.00 pm in Java.
- Ijen Basecamp20.30 pm (Java time)
We will arrive at the Basecamp at Mount Ijen. Just relax while we build up your tent and make a bonfire.
- Dinner (BBQ)21.15 pm
Now your BBQ is ready for eat. We will cook different foods for you. Some food we make over the bonfire and for some we will use the cooking equipment, that we will bring to Ijen. After your dinner you can either talk with us and play guitar or just go to sleep.
Day 2
- Hiking Ijen01.00 am
Now you will start hiking Ijen. We will give you a food package, which you can eat on the way.
- Summit3am
After circa 2 hours of hiking you arrive at the summit. Here you can hike a bit down again to see the blue fire. After that you can enjoy the sunrise.
- Start hiking down07.00 am
Now it's time for you to come back to the basecamp.
- Breakfast08.00 am
When you arrive back in the basecamp we will be already waiting for you with breakfast which we prepared for you.
- Drive to Red Island09.00 am to 11.00 am
Now we will drive you to Red Island, a surfspot in the west of Java.
- Lunch ar Red IslandMidday
After arriving in Red Island, we will bring you to a restaurant where you can get your lunch.
- Surfing
After your lunch, your surfteacher and your surfboard are already waiting for you. Now it's time to surf! We don't wanna promise to much - but this surfsport is awesome! You have a left breaking wave that breaks quite long. Besides there are almost no people in the lineup, because this spot is still quite unknown.

Day 3

Start your day with a good breakfast before you go surfing again.

Now you will meet your surf teacher again. Are you ready for your second surf session?
- LunchMidday
Get your last meal at Red Island before we start driving back at Bali.
- Boat to Bali17.00 pm (Java time) to 19.00 pm (Bali time)
We will take the ferry to go back to Bali
- Back home22.00 pm
Around 10pm you will be back at your accommodation.
